When searching for a property in San Diego I asked several friends who they used as a realtor and three had the exact same answer - Gillian. After recently closing on a property in this tough market, I can see why - she is the best.
Gillian has incredible insight to the local market. She was able to suggest properties that were an incredible fit in areas I really liked but had not previously known about. Having that type of expertise from the outset was invaluable in every step of the process from searching to negotiation to closing.
She was also extremely flexible. Time and again Gillian could accommodate my work schedule for viewings, inspections, etc. In the end, she always said she wanted me to end in a place I "love love love" and I certainly did.
And she cares so much about her clients. Even now, Gillian is always willing to give suggestions when asked for vendors to upgrade and customize my new home and truly make it my own. For her, the client relationship does not end the day escrow closes - she has truly gone above and beyond to make sure I am happy and settled in my new home.
What I learned in this process is that there are two big decisions in real estate - your Realtor and the property. With Gillian (and her team), you have both covered. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Buying the right house is a tough decision, made tougher by variables in the market, the economy and all the unknowns with each every property. We had met with a half a dozen Realtors before met Gillian and each were very well know, came with referrals from people we new and trusted but none bothered to take the time to ask the right questions, get to know our family and come to understand what was important to us. When we met Gillian, she made it clear that she was there for us, and her and John would be there for us, through the entire process and beyond. She was the one who found our eventual house, help us navigate the offer process and eventually buy our home. After the sale she was the one who made sure the sellers delivered on everything they were required to and stayed by our side through all the post sale discoveries.
